Give Local 2023
What is Give Local, and how is it different from a normal donation?
Give Local Greater Waterbury and Litchfield Hills is a 36-hour fundraiser sponsored by the Connecticut Community Foundation and Ion Bank. The goal is to support local businesses, charities and non-profits such as LHRC in the Litchfield and Waterbury area. When you donate through Give Local, every dollar you donate goes a little farther. Based on the amount we donate and number of donors we secure, we can earn bonus donations of up to thousands of dollars!
This will be our seventh year participating in the campaign, and is our main spring fundraising event. Last year, we raised over $10,000 from our loyal supporters, and our hope is increase that to $12,000 this year. We are so grateful for the support during this short window of time so we can purchase equipment for our programs, keep the sport as affordable as possible, and provide need-based financial aid to increase opportunity in rowing.

Give Local 2023 will take place April 25-26, 2023.
You can donate on the Give Local site, or directly through our website. Any donations received during the Give Local time period will be counted toward our final tally—giving us even more opportunities to earn extra donations.
